Exceptional Education: Mrs. Switzer
Week of May 4, 2020
Parents:
Good morning!
Happy Monday! We had a beautiful weekend with some really great weather. I hope all of you were able to enjoy it. We are back to e-learning today. I have added a lot of new videos and content. Below you will find a detailed schedule of various activities to complete. Please don't forget to email (tswitzer@pc.k12.ms.us)or text Mrs. Switzer (228-669-3812) your completed work or just a text to let her know what you have been working on. I have to enter grades each week for you. I am taking grades from various sources, including at-home activities, i-ready, completing activities listed below, and learning packets.
We will be meeting through our virtual google hangout again. This way our students can "see" each other. This week, this will be on Tuesday @ 9:00am. and Thursday @ 3:00pm. Here is the link: http://meet.google.com/fjj-sykx-dqg You just need to make sure you have "Google Meet" downloaded on your phone or you can use that link from a computer. Either one will work. Please reach out to me if you need assistance setting it up. Also, if you want to "meet" any additional times or days please message me and we will set up a time that is convenient to you and your student.
I am including a schedule of activities that you can follow. Most of these activities are very short. Also, this is only a suggestion. Please feel free to change up the order. Also, remember that we have many varied needs and skill levels within our class. Please differentiate lessons to make them suitable for your student. If you need help with this or have any questions, please reach out to me.
Don't forget your I-Ready minutes! Remember, I-Ready is already on a path that is made just for your student, please do not assist them with their lessons. If they don't understand something on I-ready, please encourage them to do their best.
You can call or text me @ 228.669.3812 or email me tswitzer@pc.k12.ms.us if you need anything.
Thanks,
Mrs. Switzer
