I'll be working for Back2Back Ministries serving orphans!
Hello Friends & Families,
Growing up, I frequently prayed, “God shape me, mold me, change me, and use me.” In 2012, I first went to Guatemala with my university for a study abroad program. That summer one area of ministry radically changed me—working with orphans and vulnerable children. The Guatemalan children not only touched my heart, they reached down and grabbed my soul. Over the last 4 years, I’ve made several trips to Guatemala to visit these children— Antonio, Marleny, Andy & many others— who first captured my heart.
Over the past year, God placed a burden in me for the trauma orphans experience from abandonment and abuse. I connected with an amazing ministry that focuses on global orphan care—Back2Back Ministries. B2B Ministries specializes in trauma-based orphan care by providing orphans with holistic care by meeting not only their physical and educational needs but their spiritual, emotional and social needs as well. From my experience with orphans in Guatemala, I know children need more than education and a roof over their heads to heal from past trauma.
In Fall 2016, I will be moving to Monterrey, Mexico to work for Back2Back as a full-time missionary! I believe in what B2B is doing because they focus on supporting long term, sustainable orphan care by investing in the local communities and systems already established in the countries where they work. Based out of Cincinnati, OH, Back2Back started 17 years ago with one family who wanted to make a difference. They now have a global staff who provide specific care in each community in which they work. I never imagined when I prayed for God to change and use me, this was the plan He had for my life, but I couldn’t be more excited about where God is leading me.

Tono & Marleny are siblings I've built a deep relationship with over the last four years of ministry in Guatemala.

Two children I connected with during my visit to Monterrey this September. They live at one of the children's homes where I will serve.
I taught English to these teens girls in Guatemala. This is one way I can use my talents and skills for God's glory on the mission field.

Will You Join Me?
As a missionary, I need to raise financial support for my work in Monterrey. I need a team of monthly supporters to provide financial support for my work with B2B. While one-time donations are helpful, donations spread out over a monthly period provides the best sustainable support scenario for long-term mission work.
Would you consider investing in God's kingdom work to serve the orphans and vulnerable children in Monterrey through monthly giving, or a one-time gift?
All donations are tax-deductible and should be written out to Back2Back Ministries with my name —Kaylee Yoder—in the memo line.
I will follow up this invitation with an email or phone call to talk with you more about this opportunity to partner with me in this crucial work and to answer questions you may have. If you already know how you’d like to support me, you can email me with your commitment to be a monthly partner, or you can mail a one-time gift. All contact info is located below.
Thank you so much for your love, prayers, and support. With brothers and sisters in Christ, like yourself, we can be the hands and feet of Jesus—together— to the vulnerable and broken.
