Good afternoon Wildcats,
District final exams end tomorrow, Thursday, 5/19/22. Friday we will have make up district finals and begin make-ups for state testing. We will be calling all families of students who need to make up a state test. Next week 5/23-5/25 will be make-ups for state testing and no new assignments will be given in classes.

State Testing Make-ups
Monday 5/23/22- Algebra, Geometry, 9th grade ELA, 10th grade ELA
Tuesday 5/24/22- Algebra, Geometry, 9th grade ELA, 10th grade ELA
Wednesday 5/25/22- Any state test needed
Importance of state testing
Algebra 1 EOC- Graduation requirement and 30% of the student's final grade
Geometry EOC- 30% of the student's final grade
Biology EOC- 30% of the student's final grade
US History EOC- 30% of the student's final grade
9th grade ELA (Reading and Writing)- Determines student placement into remedial coursework
10th grade ELA (Reading and Writing)- Graduation Requirement
As you can see, it is imperative that your student take these exams and perform their best as it impacts final grades and graduation. Class of 2023 Senior Portrait Sessions

Start making plans for your Senior Portrait Session with Gigante Productions! Appointments will open in June, and you must have your session on or before November 3rd in order to make it into the senior section of the yearbook. We can only feature senior portraits from Gigante in the senior section of the yearbook. Specific information with a link to schedule your appointment will be forthcoming. In the meantime, contact Mrs. Ingram, yearbook advisor, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.

Absolutely no jeans, sneakers, flip-flops, bulky jewelry, scarves, ribbons, bandanas, etc.… . Also, ladies, please keep in mind that you will be traveling up and down stairs on the stage and walking a lot so the height of your heel should be kept at a minimum for safety reasons. Leave purses, cameras, and personal items with a parent or friend in the audience; they may not be taken in during the processional. Flowers or corsages are NOT permitted.
Graduation Gowns: Please wear your cap and gown to check in. We will not have
extra gowns on hand. Make sure that you bring yours to the ceremony.
Graduation Cap: The mortarboard (graduation cap) is to be worn flat with the tassel over the right eye. Once the seniors are declared graduates, the tassel is moved to the left side in unison with the class. If decorated, mortarboards must not contain anything inappropriate, class year or initials would be examples of what is typical. We will not have extra caps or tassels on hand. Make sure that you bring yours to the ceremony.
Failure to comply with the dress policy may result in the student not being permitted to
participate in the ceremony. Security will do a visual search of all graduates.

Need more customers? Advertise with WCHS! Each year thousands of people come to events on our campus and see advertisements for local businesses. This is an opportunity to get affordable advertising and help out the students of WCHS.
Banners are printed by the school using your artwork with several options:
4 x 4 full color vinyl banner will be displayed in the Gymnasium.
4 x 10 full color vinyl banner will be displayed outdoors on the fence of the field you chose.
The cost for a one year banner in the gym $400.00.
The cost of a banner on one outdoor facility is $500.00.
The cost of one year of advertising on the football/soccer/lacrosse, baseball, and softball field (3 banners) is $800.00.
The cost of all facilitites both indoor and outdoor banner (4 banners) is $1,000.00.
There term of the advertisement is one full year.
