LMS Tiger Talk
September 30, 2022
Principal's Message
We've reached the end of September and we have just two more weeks left in the first quarter. Fall seems to be in full swing and we're excited for our annual tradition of Homecoming here in Loveland next week! We'll have fun things going on here at school including a spirit week (details below) and our first pep assembly of the year happening on Friday. We're also looking forward to the parade and football and to this very #beLOVEland tradition.
October is a busy month for happenings around the school and the district. Please be sure to take a look at our upcoming dates for LMS down below.
Have a happy weekend, everyone.
Take care and Go Tigers!

Our partners at BestPoint Behavioral Health recognize the continuing challenges facing students, families, and schools today regarding mental health needs associated with the pandemic. To support families at home, they have put together an online class that teaches practical, easy-to-use techniques that help children rebound from stress and anxiety called, "Post-Pandemic Parenting". M/INT PTSA News
Join MINT PTSA
We have raised $11,350 so far for our One and Done Fundraiser and membership drive. That’s 45% so far. We have 2.5 weeks left to raise as much as we can.
When you join the MINT PTSA you have the opportunity to join at different levels. This basic level is $25, but if you can donate more to our fundraiser you can join at the $50, $75, or $100 level or give more through the open donation category. As parents on the board we know it isn’t fun to have to sell popcorn, wrapping paper, or cookie dough. So we are being straightforward and simply asking for your financial support. We are committed to being responsible and thoughtful with the MINT PTSA budget. You are always welcome to come to a meeting or ask questions if you want to know more.
If you have already joined the MINT PTSA, but would like to donate to our fundraiser please use the “open donation” category.
Remember your donation to our One & Done fundraiser and membership drive also enters you in the raffle for 4 Bengals tickets on Nov 6th at 1pm. The more you donate the more entries to the raffle you earn.
Tori Morrison (Loveland family) lost her son, Ben, to suicide in March of 2021. Those left behind after such a traumatic event are frequently racked with intense guilt and shame. Tori, however, decided she wasn't going to let these emotions control her. Covering up what happened or simply remaining silent was not an option for her. Instead, she is using her heartbreaking experiences to help erode the stigma that surrounds those affected by mental health issues and suicide. Listen to the first installment of Enough! Stopping the Mental Health Stigma.
Help support the Ben Morrison fund here.
Congratulations to Mrs Pitcher who won the raffle for 1 ticket to see Hamilton!! Thank you so much to our generous, anonymous donor for the ticket who made this possible!
Homeroom Donut Party
This week’s homeroom donut party winner is LIS student Katelyn Cilley in Mrs. Browning’s Tiger Time!
2 more chances to win! A PTSA member will be drawn at random and the student associated with that membership will win donuts for their homeroom class. All members who have joined are automatically included in the raffle.
