Principal's Message

Thank you again to all of our veterans and their families!

Congratulations to all of our fall activities and athletic teams on their tremendous success! From our band team's outstanding performance at their regional competition, our soccer and volleyball team's playoff success, our cross-country team's individual and team success (congratulations to James Crabtree on his state championship!), our dance team's first place performance last weekend, to our speech and debate team's competition this weekend, and beyond, we have students succeeding at incredible levels!

Our ask this week is to also please remind your student of the need to wear their mask over their nose and mouth at all times at school. We have been successful in our overall student body staying healthy, and everyone's effort to keep their mask on is a major reason for that. Thank you for your help!

Finally, our football team has their second round playoff game at 7pm on Friday night at West Salem High School. Please come support them!

Have a great weekend, and Go Bowmen!

Mr. Mitchell

Sherwood Education Foundation's "Clicking for Kids" Fundraiser

The Sherwood Education Foundation (SEF) was formed to enrich and enhance the quality of education in the Sherwood School District by distributing funds through grants to individual teachers, and by funding programs that support the district’s vision for educational excellence. Because of community support, in the last five years alone SEF has awarded 98 teacher grants totaling over $220,000. Whether it's Sensory Paths, Ozbot Evo Robots, Spanish Fiction Books, a Forensic Microscope, or Drumline Replacement for the High School Marching Band, Sherwood Education Foundation is committed to being there for our teachers and their students.

Like many things this year, Sherwood Education Foundation's annual fundraiser Calling for Kids is going to look a little different. While it's the same great non-profit you know and trust with the same worthy recipients, Calling for Kids is now Clicking for Kids! The Sherwood Education Foundation’s continued success is only made possible with your support! 100 % of your donation goes directly back to funding teacher grants at all grade levels.

Please partner with Sherwood Education Foundation and donate today!
