William D. Cuts Jr. High

December 2021

A MESSAGE FROM OUR ADMIN:

Welcome to December everyone. We have made it through the first three months of school and winter break is right around the corner. It’s been a busy three months at WD Cuts with having some activities return to near normal. Volleyball is now over with all four of our teams having successful seasons. A big congratulations to the senior girls who went undefeated and won the city championships. Basketball tryouts have started up and the turnout has been amazing.

Clubs have started up now that the weather isn’t as conducive to going outside and most students are indoors. A list of the clubs and what days they are on can be found on the school website. The servery is also open and has a limited selection of soup, sandwiches and muffins. Students are still eating lunch in their homerooms and then have options of where they can go for the second half of lunch.

We come back to school on Tuesday, January 4, and the end of January marks the end of semester 1. Beginning in February, option classes will change, but cores remain the same. I hope that everyone has a chance to relax and recharge over the winter break. All the best and see you in January.

Cory Albrecht and Matt Tripp
