Goodbye, 2020!
Issue 11 | Quarter 4 2020
Longest Year Ever
Now is the time to honor and recognize the year you've had - to take stock of the hardships and small wins. 2020 traumatized us, and yet, the sun shines. In that spirit, this issue of Heather's Home Life is a tribute to the sunnier corners of my cloudy year.
My work as a Realtor was a source of (masked-up, socially distant) human contact, culminating in many happy endings. It has been a true joy to be part of so many families' journeys home in 2020.
In terms of work, I'm ending this year with:
*14 closed escrows
*All listings sold above asking, and one in UNDER 30 days!
*an invitation to join the Sacramento Association of Realtor's Master's Club
*new friends in my clients
On the home front, the Downeys are:
*grateful to have stayed healthy all year
*proud of our efforts to manage the changes around us and within the flow of our home
*watching a lot of Star Wars content, but that would be true even in the best of times :)
Please continue to send me updates as you build lives in your new home! And if you or someone you know is ready to explore a big move in 2021, I am ready to take that call. Thank you for your trust in coming to me and sending your friends and family my way.
Cheers to all you did this year. It was a lot.
Andy & Besty
We got along so well, I just know we will continue on as friends as they settle into the California lifestyle (they're recent East Coast transplants)! Betsy is a professor of Public History, which just happens to be the niche area of study in which I earned a Master's degree. Some people are just meant to cross paths.
Their Midtown duplex is the perfect place for all the adventures and joys life has in store for them. It was a genuine bright spot in my year to be their Realtor, and I'm so grateful for their trust.
We can't say enough good things about our experience with Heather. Our house hunt took place under unusually difficult circumstances; as recent transplants, we moved to Sacramento in the midst of the pandemic to find an unbelievably competitive housing market. Heather was our unflappable guide through bidding wars and successful negotiations. Against all odds, we ended up in a property that ticked all our original boxes and added amenities we had not even considered. From the moment we met her, we were struck by Heather's combination of genuine friendliness, consistent responsiveness and straight-forward professionalism. We are so lucky to have been able to work with her.
Sold x2! The Heller de Leon Family
Heather went above and beyond to help get our house ready to go to market, including hiring a great photographer and getting the word out on all her social media channels. I can't say enough about her professionalism, her care for her clients, and the joy and humor she brings to the home buying and selling processes.
