Digital Classroom Yearbook
Check out her post here and her template here. You can see how I adjusted it for my Virtual French 1 students here (they will be recording a separate intro on Flipgrid, where I will be able to hear their names pronounced correctly).

Going Beyond Digital
Paperless. Digital. Blended. Flipped. Hybrid. We've all seen these terms floating around for more than a decade now. However, how much are they really changing what happens in the classroom?
I recently came across an Edutopia article from 2017 called "Are We Innovating, or Just Digitizing Traditional Teaching?" by Beth Holland that addresses the idea that a push to implement these practices does not make learning better or innovative unless traditional teaching practice also changes. The flip side of that is to recognize that a classroom can be innovative without any technology at all. The technology involved doesn't change anything unless learning in the classroom advances with it.
Over the next year, I will be sharing some ways to evaluate your own use of technology in the classroom. Two that I will focus on are SAMR and PICRAT. Both ask the question: How is using technology actually helping learning and changing traditional practice?
Take a look at the short PICRAT intro video below!
