Character Counts! for Elementary Students

“I treat others the way I want to be treated.”

K-5 students that use good manners and are considerate in their interactions with others use respect. They are tolerant of others’ differences. These students are considerate of the feelings, needs, and thoughts of others. They do no harm to others, and they deal peacefully with their own anger.

IB Learner Profile for MYP Students

MYP students develop a natural curiosity of studies by acquiring the skills necessary to conduct inquiry, research and independence in learning. They actively enjoy learning and seek more information on topics that interest them as an inquirer.

After School Clubs

The last day of Q3 clubs is Friday, March 10th, 2023!

Registration for Q4 clubs will begin on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023, for all K-8 families. The Q4 club descriptions have been shared via SwiftReach messages and posted on our school website. They are also included below, as well as the Q4 club registration link.

Q4 clubs will begin on Monday April 10th, 2023, and end on Friday, May 26, 2023, for eligible students.

Families and friends are invited to enjoy a delicious sweet treat, while fundraising for our school! 20% of your purchase will be donated to our campus! The event begins at 2pm and will finish at 9pm. Families have received the flyer via text, as well as reminder texts to attend the event!

Paint & Sip Event - March 15

We are hosting an ADULT ONLY Paint & Sip event at our campus! Please join us on Wednesday March 15th, 2023 for an evening of fun, painting, cookies and coffee (provided by Barista Bennett from B&B Cappuccino). Our theme for the evening will be “Spring Birch Trees”. All participants must be 18 years of age or older. Individuals age 17 and under will not be permitted on-campus for the event. Adult participants should reserve their spot using the wufoo link provided below. The flyer below has been shared via SwiftReach messages and posted on our website.

Spring Break

Spring Break begins on Monday, March 20th, 2023! Classes resume for students on Monday, March 27th! Our offices will be open during Spring Break for in-person and telephone assistance.

Spring Picture Event - March 29

A team of photographers from Fox-Mar will be on-campus on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023, to take our 'Spring Pictures' of all students! Students should 'dress down' appropriately to 'show their personality' in the portrait they will be sitting for. NO PAYMENT NECESSARY AT THIS TIME. However, K-8 families should scan and submit their information requested on the flyer to receive the proof of their child's image. Suggested attire is listed on the flyer.

Q3 Report Cards

Quarter 3 ends on Thursday March 16th, 2023. Student Q3 Report Cards will be issued electronically on Thursday March 30th, 2023 to email addresses on file. Your child's report card will also be available, for up to 30 days, in the parent/guardian PowerSchool portal.

Spirit Stick Dress Down Day

Students who purchased a Top Franklin Spirit Stick are eligible to 'dress down appropriately' on Thursday March 16th, 2023.

Art & Multicultural Night - March 29

Our 12th Annual Art and Multicultural Night will take place on Wednesday March 29th, 2023, at 6pm. This year we will showcase a fabulous array of art ranging from paintings to drawings, and digital art to ceramics. We will once again have our famous Black Light Room. This year, we are excited to announce that attendees will enjoy the artwork of The Aquarium in our Black Light Room!

Students are encouraged to audition to perform a multicultural song, dance, or poem. Please complete the information requested on the google form in order for your child to audition. The auditions for the talent portion of the show will take place on Thursday, March 15, 2023, during the child's school day. It is essential that students brings their music on a USB for the audition process.
