Have you caught someone being a Bulldog?

Have you caught a student or a WHS staff member "Being a Bulldog"? We want to hear about it!

What is being a Bulldog? The American Kennel Club describes a Bulldog as kind but courageous, full of tenacity, friendly, and loyal companions. It is fitting that we are the Wylie Bulldogs because those are the qualities we strive for our campus to exude.

We believe that it is important to recognize those that are examples of kindness, friendliness, loyalty, and courage. Students and staff members can be nominated by students, staff, and community members. It is the hope of WHS that Bulldogs will inspire other Bulldogs to continue to show these characteristics. Nominate someone here!

Need a job? Want to intern? Need volunteer hours?

Check out WHS's Hire a Bulldog webpage. WHS CTE reached out to the Abilene community asking if they had any job, intern, and/or volunteer opportunities for high school students, and the Abilene community delivered. The page is updated daily as businesses and non-profit organizations continue to send in their opportunities.
You can also contact Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas as it is a free service to help with career skills such as resume writing, searching for a job, and interview assistance. WHS students could also be eligible to join their Young Adult program where they help students find a job and provide other career training skills.
