We are happy to announce our students will now be receiving direct art instruction by Wolf Canyon's new art teacher. Beginning this week our classes will be rotating to art and music class Tuesday mornings. The schedule will be as follows:

  • 8:55-10:15 Mrs. Kolodziej and Mrs. Connary to music (40 min.) and art (40 min.)
  • 10:15-11:45 Mrs. Carreon and Mr. Riggs to music (40 min.) and art (40 min.)

There are still many students who have yet to set up their FREE Office 365 account. Below is the link (Student Advantage Program) and follow this formula for signing in. NOTE: Student ID# is the same number used for Achieve 3000 username. Password should be the same as well, except first initial needs to be CAPITALIZED for Office 365.

  • Username:
  • Password: Upper case first letter of first name, lower case of last name, followed by the 8 digit birth date in the mmddyyyy format

For example:

Once you are signed in to OFFICE 365, click on the Office 365 logo in the top left corner of the page, click INSTALL NOW and you're ready to go! We appreciate your support in student success this 2015-2016 school year and thank you for enrolling your child over this break.

Math tutoring will begins this week. Your teacher sent notification last week to your child if tutoring is required. Please note: Math test corrections are due Friday!

Math: Multiply double digit numbers with regrouping and partial products, multiply tw0-digit numbers using a place value chart, and use standard algorithm for two-digit multiplication by two-digit multiplication.

Reading: Making inferences, determining the main idea and identify the theme of the text as well as evidence supporting the theme within the text.

Writing: Informative newspaper article about European Explorer writing and summary writing using I.V.F.

Grammar: Quotation marks.

Social Studies: Unit 2; Early European Explorers (Cortes, Cabrillo, Drake, Cermeno, Vizcaino)
