Newsletter Week 2 Term 2
Meeanee School 11th May, 2022
MESSAGE FROM THE SWIVELLY CHAIR
The first week back at school was excellent. Students seem to settle back into routines relatively easily. Pukeko has four new additions to their class this term. We welcome, Archer, Jasper, O'Shea, and Rhys. As well as these new additions we have a further 8 students yet to enter the school this year. We are now in the situation where the school is full for out of zone students for 2022. Our school roll will end the year on 106 students (our current roll as of today is 98). Unfortunately this currently means we are having to turn away students wishing to attend our school if they are out of zone.
Thanks to the Booth family who entered a competition and won us some new Netballs for our school. This is another act of kindness and community spirit that we enjoy at our school. Under orange setting it's been nice to see more adults being able to enter the school grounds to catch up with classroom teachers.
Be Kind, Stay Safe,
Damion
