Warriors Soars Annual Community Picnic
In lieu of Post 782's Annual Picnic, consider gathering at the Warriors Soar HQs, one of our Community Partners. Beautiful setting with access to water to cool off and plenty of room for frisbee and ball tossing or just running around. Bring your chairs (or other items for seating) and something to provide shade, if you need it.
Auxiliary: Consider rallying together to offer your trademark homemade dishes to share at the event.
Everyone: Bring coolers with your favorite beverages.
Be mindful you'll want to spread out a little as a precaution. COVID-19 is still a real thing!
RSVP for this event by August 13. The Post will donate monies for hotdogs and hamburgers, based on RSVP. Note event location mailing address: 62 Austin Rd, Swanton differs from Google map address above.

Monetary donations are truly needed but so are...
donations of time and talents that exist in abundance in the veteran and broader Burlington community.
VFW Post 782, Vermont's first VFW Post, was established on June 29, 1921. In its nearly 100 years existence, veterans, our families and neighbors alike have worked together to lift up the community. A lot has changed over the years and so we must change too.
