AEA Strongsville Weekly Update
Week of November 24th
Message from Ms. Boyle-Scott
The first part of the 2020-2021 school year has gone by quickly, and it has been both an eventful and dynamic. Parents have met with their children’s teachers during parent conferences yesterday and today. Our school has completed our first quarter and are well into our second. Our world continues to grapple with challenges none of us hoped to endure.
Despite these difficulties, it is a time of thanks and gratitude. As we reflect, I want to take this opportunity to share some thoughts of gratitude with you: We are thankful for our students who come to school every day ready to learn either virtually or in person– they give us all a daily reminder of what is important. We are thankful for the support of the AEA Strongsville community and especially our parents in creating an outstanding partnership for our students. We are thankful for the teachers, bus drivers, secretary, counselor, security, and administrators who care about students' well-being and achievement. We will all continue to be a support to you and our students throughout the year.
In these unprecedented and challenging times, we see dedicated and tireless individuals doing everything they can to make sure that great things happen all across our community. They make a difference. Most importantly, we are thankful for the parents that continue to work every day to ensure their children are safe, following the procedures, and working hard. You all advocate for your children’s education, safety and well-being. For this, we are so thankful.
I would like to wish all of you and your families a happy, healthy and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday! Stay safe, wear your mask, and wash your hands.
Sincerely,
Ms. Emery Boyle-Scott
