Give your child a head start in competitive swimming today by enrolling in our Stroke Clinic. This stroke Clinic is designed for students who already have a solid foundation of the fundamentals of swimming and desire to learn more advanced swimming techniques. The classes put emphasis on proper technique over speed. Students will enhance their competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly) with drills taught by our experienced instructors.
In order to participate, students must meet 2 of the 3 following criteria:
- Must be able to swim 50 yards freestyle with rotary breathing continuously, without assistance
- Must be currently or previously enrolled in Level 5 or 6 swimming lessons
- Must be 11+ years old
USDA Approved Free Meals for all Students - extended through the remainder of the 2020-21 school year
The USDA has approved FREE Breakfast and Lunch for all students through the 2020-21 school year or until funding is depleted. Your student(s) enrolled in Bellevue Public Schools can receive one complete breakfast and one complete lunch per day starting now.
How does this affect your student’s school lunch status?
If your student is a full pay or reduced lunch status, they will be temporarily moved to FREE status. There will be no meal charges made to the student’s account through the 2020-21 school year or until the district is notified by the USDA and State Authorities that the funding is depleted. There are no specific details on when this funding may run out, so like everything related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), it will be a fluid process and we will notify families as soon as possible of any changes. At that point the student’s account will return to their original lunch status and charged accordingly.
A la carte options will still be available and charged to the student’s meal account. Funds will need to continue to be added into the student’s meal account to cover a la carte charges. You can add funds to your student’s account using your MySchoolBucks account: https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/login/getlogin
If you have not done so already, we highly encourage parents/guardians to please fill out the Eligibility Meal Application to apply for free and reduced status, so that when regular meal prices resume you will still receive the appropriate meal benefits. The application is available here on our website.
This Institution is an Equal Opportunity Provider.
