Home of the Mountain Lion Cubs (June 11, 2021)

Look how "far" we have come!

Students may have learned from 6 feet apart this year, but they have grown and learned together as a strong Mountain Lion Cub family!

Beach Day

June 9th was Beach Day at LEX. Rain showers couldn't ruin any of our fun!

Beach Day Selfies

Strike a beach pose!

Sports and Game Day

Sharing and taking turns is fun! Students practiced gross motor skills and cognitive skills while playing fun classroom games and sports.

Who can blow the most bubbles? LEX Mountain Lion Cubs can!

Water Activities

Students played Lucky Duck, fished for letters/colors/shapes, and explored the different properties of water using their 5 senses. When it rained, teachers moved water play indoors. Students had so much fun! Thank you to our custodian, Mr. Matt, for helping us during this special theme day!

Music and Drums

Students in Miss Grove and Mrs. Creamer's classes practiced their drumming skills. Look out AAJHS and AAHS band, I think we may have some future AASD drummers!

End of the Year Rewards

Students earned various individual and class rewards to end the year for being safe, responsible, and respectful including popsicle rewards, ice cream scoops, game day, and certificates.

Farewell and Goodbye

Mrs. Cecelia Sinclair will be leaving as the LEX secretary on 6/18/21. As our secretary, she has been a tremendous asset to our LEX community and our program. Good luck to Cecelia.

Ms. Alyssa Kephart will be our new secretary. Welcome Alyssa!
