Letter from Principal Nelson
Smallville-
We are so excited to welcome back our students after a much-deserved and appreciated break. They hit the ground running and are hopefully geared up for the last 10 days of the Fall semester. That’s right, 2 more weeks and then we all get to spend the Winter Holidays with our family and friends again until January 4th.
It’s important for your student to know that even though there will be celebrations here and there, learning excursions, and several special events leading up to the break, that the business of learning is still our main priority. We expect our students to be as sharp and on point these last 10 days as they were during the first 10. Our teachers will still be teaching until December 17th so please make sure they know they are expected to learn until then as well. We know they have the know-how and we will be sure to reward them for their hard work and focus.
Speaking of rewards, be sure to check this publication next week for information on our annual Fine Arts Winter Showcase! This year we will be broadcasting the affair via Zoom so all family members, friends, and fans of the Fine Arts can enjoy our students’ performances. We’ll send the Zoom link out prior and look forward to seeing as many of you on there as we can legally support. (up to 500 I believe)
Thanks for reading.
