Huron
Who ran the land?
In Huron, women ran the land. The men were there to help out. They did all the hunting and fishing. The women made all the supplies the men needed, cared for the children, made the food. Just all the mother things.
The women ran the government. Men didn't have anything to do with the government. They (men) traded as there responsibility. They knew how to trade, so they did. Protecting their villages were another thing they did. They had to do everything hard working. The women didn't. The women met together and got the government stuff done.
