Words of Wisdom

"Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers."

~ Charles William Eliot

When was the last time you curled up with a good book, one that transported you to another place and time? For some of us, life gets in the way. The extent of our reading becomes social media updates from friends.

It’s an easy thing to let slide, but like physical exercise is to the body, reading is to the mind. It improves both memory and concentration and is a great stress buster. Best of all? Books are accessible anytime through the library system for no cost – in fact, you probably already have a book just waiting to be your next best friend.

Photos Needed!

Staff, students, and families! Ms. Michalak would love to have your best photos for the CPA yearbook!

If you have pics of CPA students in action, please share them! Think class projects, field trips, athletics, dances, and more. Ms. Michalak didn't become the yearbook editor until after the fall sports seasons, so we especially need soccer and volleyball photos.

Please email photos to kimm@cpapk12.org and include date, names, and grades. Thanks for supporting the CPA yearbook!
