If you have trouble with the Parent Portal or the form, or if you have questions about senior high registration, reach out to your child’s school for assistance.

Athletics Corner
This week our Junior and Senior teams took on Lakeland Ridge. Senior Girls and Junior Boys won, while Senior Boys and Junior Girls lost close games. Our Junior B Girls travelled to Kate Chegwin to compete in an exhibition game, also losing a super close game to KC’s junior girls’ team.
The Senior Boys play at Bev Facey this weekend and the Senior Girls will take the weekend off. Juniors travel to the Ardrossan tourney.
Good luck to all our teams this weekend!
And looking into next week (it’s a busy one): Junior and Senior teams take on Ardrossan on Tuesday and FR Haythorne on Wednesday. Junior B’s will compete in an exhibition tourney at FRH on Saturday March 4!!

Feb 27-Mar 3
Young Authors Conference - Sat. Apr. 15, 2023
Each year over 400 selected students in grades 4 to 9 from both Elk Island Public Schools and Elk Island Catholic Schools are invited to spend the day with a variety of well-known children and young adult authors, illustrators and graphic artists—working with them and learning the tricks of the trade.
Any SWH students who are interested in attending the YAC Conference on Saturday April 15th, please come see Mrs. Shiloff or Mrs. Burton in the office by March 1st. Students who show special interest or aptitude in the areas of writing and illustration will have an opportunity to attend the conference.
Canteen Volunteers and Menu
Volunteering for shifts in our SWH Canteen with Mrs. Braun is an excellent way to help prepare our students for the world of work. These opportunities help students build confidence, increase skill range, and feel successful as they work towards entering post-secondary or the workforce.
Also being served on Thursdays is $3 pizza slices! Pick from pepperoni, cheese and ham & pineapple.
