Computer RX Idea Exchange 2016

This Computer-Rx conference is learning and sharing ideas with peers and software partner. The event promotes encouragement. Each year, hundreds of customers gather to gain knowledge of the ever-evolving products that they use on a daily basis.

Cardinal Health was in attendance of the Computer Rx Idea exchange. Kelsie Petree was the hit of the Cardinal Health booth, demonstrating CIM, RCS, and Recon to customers and prospects. Kelsie now has 2 new prospects for CIM and a second meeting with a 4 store group after presenting CIM. Russell Blevins, from corporate, talked to customers about EDI. Matt Hutto, from the Texas team, Jerry Taylor, Jason Simmons, Jason Hamilton, and Becky Gillenwater had the chance to meet with customers and prospects.

The event was a huge success! The Cardinal Health booth was packed with customers and prospects. The Cardinal Health team had the opportunity to talk to participates about Women in Pharmacy, Pharmacy Transition, Managed Care Town Hall being held in Oklahoma City/Tulsa, and Generation Rx.

On Thursday night the Cardinal Health Team had the opportunity to attend a Thunder Game. The OKC Thunder defeated the LA Clippers with a score of 119-117.

Carefirst - New Store Setup

The team work on this team is awesome! Everyone had a great time putting this front end together. Carefirst Pharmacy had its challenges but nobody would have known with how well this team came together and got the job done!

Elliot, Quita and Vanessa set the OTC while the fabulous Wendy did returns!

Special thanks to Elliot for traveling to help the KCS team and making the project a success!

  • Healthy Food - if adults offer a variety of healthy foods, the child can be trusted to figure out what and how much to eat.

  • Creative Play - TV or computer games can wait until your toddler is about 2. After that, limit to 30 minutes per day.

  • Caring Environment - Hugs and high-fives help children feel accepted and loved.

Can You Breakout?

During Jason Hamilton's team meeting, there were two teams for the Team Building exercise at Breakout KC.

Breakout Kansas City is a brand new entertainment game in downtown Kansas City's River Market. Your goal is simple: you have 60 minutes to breakout from one of our real life escape rooms.

Crack the codes.

Use your gut.

Solve the riddles.

Find out if you have what it takes to breakout in time.

Team 1 included Jason H, Kelsie, Wendy, Becky, Vanessa & Mark Wegelin. They were in "Room 13" which has a breakout success rate of 29%.

Team 2 included Ree, Fawn, Quita, Jerry, Jason S, and David. The "Truman Room" awaited them, and has a breakout success rate of only 24%.

Neither team 'broke out' but they all had fun. Win or lose they did it together as a team.

Happy Birthday to.......Jerry Taylor!!! (4/14)

Raise the Bar & Pump It up!

Two of our Pharmacy customers Brent & Patty Gollner, owners of Keith's Drive In and Keith's Medical Park Pharmacy, are involved as investors in this start up business that has been growing in leaps and bounds and supports a very viable cause.

Headquartered in Hastings, Nebraska, Pacha Soap is on a mission to implement sustainable solutions to the poverty cycle, to promote health and well-being around the world, and to provide quality products for our customers... all with veracity and love!

When you purchase Pacha Soap products, your purchases have a global impact. Each day, it is estimated that 2,350 children die due to dirty water, inadequate sanitation, and hygiene (World Health Organization). That is why we are focusing our efforts on the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (W.A.S.H.) issues.

Through your purchases and Pacha's buy-one, give-one campaigns, Raise the Bar and Pump It Up, you are directly making an impact around the world by helping to provide soap and clean water for those in need.
