Kindness Challenge/World Kind Day!

Kindness Challenge/World Kind Day!

To celebrate World Kindness Day which falls on Friday, November 13th, we are challenging students to complete as many kind acts as they can during the week of November 9-13th. Students will be given a copy of The Great Kindness Challenge to take home today November 6th. Students who chose to turn in their The Great Kindness Challenge, no need to have completed ALL the challenges, to their teacher on Friday the 13th, will be entered into a class drawing.


On Friday, November 13th, all students and staff are encouraged to wear positive statement shirts or red to show support.

As we enter our chiller fall season please check the weather forecast daily and send appropriate gear for outside play. It's important to label each hat, glove/mitten, snow pants, and boots to make sure they are returned to your family in the event they are misplaced. Students will go outside for recess until the wind chill and below zero temperatures keep us indoors.

Picture Re-Take Day

Did you miss our picture day or would like to request a retake? Mortensen photography will return on Monday, November 23rd for photos. Photos that were taken mid-October will be coming early next week if you purchased a picture package. If you would like your child to have their photos retaken, please return the photo package to school with your child and let their teacher know you'd like them to have a retake done.
