Eagle Family S.T.E.M. Night!

Science-Technology-Engineering-Math

May 27, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

This year's event will be held outdoors (weather permitting). Activities will take place on the North side of the school, between the Gym and the Zion Nature Center.

What's New at Eagle's STEM Night?

This year, Eagle's STEM Night will be focused around an Eagle Garden that students in grades K-4 have been planning. Students have worked during their STEM time to learn about needs and wants for our garden, plant life cycles, plant adaptations, and birds and bird beaks. They want to share their learning with you!

Students in each grade level have worked together to come up with activities and presentations to share what they have been learning during STEM this Spring. Students have created a STEM Night to remember! They will be helping to run grade level stations and share their knowledge with you!

We can't wait to see you at STEM Night! Please use the form below to sign up for STEM Night. Then, keep scrolling for more information and opportunities!

**Please note: Although dinner has been served in the past, this year's event is focused on the students and the work they have accomplished. No food will be served.**

First Grade Station Needs Recycled Materials

The first grade students will be leading an activity where families work together to build a birdhouse from recycled materials (jars, jugs, cans, boxes, etc). We need materials! Please clean recyclable materials and send them to school with your child by Friday, May 22. You may also choose to plan your birdhouse ahead of time and bring the materials you will need to STEM Night. Thank you!

Grade Level Station Helpers

Students in each grade level have created stations and activities to teach families about the work they have been doing in STEM. All students have the option to help at their grade level's stations for a 15 minute session. If your child would like to help at their grade level's station, please use the brown button ("Grade Level Station Sign-Up (Optiona)l") below to sign your child up for a session. The button will take you to a Google Form to sign them up. If you have more than one child, you will need to use this button multiple times and sign up each child one at at time. Thank you!

Eagle Students are Fundraising for the Eagle Garden!

There will be donation boxes around the school for STEM Night. Eagle's students decided to use this night as a fundraising opportunity for the Eagle Garden that they are planning. All donations are optional, and the event is completely free!
