Vocabulary Video Contest
More than 1,500 students worldwide submitted educational 15-second videos defining a word of the day for the New York Times Annual Vocabulary Video Contest. Masterman's Caleb Washington's (7-3) was 1 of 14 winners featured!

Use congratulations in a sentence
The Scripps National Spelling Bee transitioned to an online format for the early rounds this year and Seventh Grader Jeremy Landau qualified to be our Masterman representative. Best spelling wishes to him when he completes the first online test on March 3!
High School Debate at City, State and Nationals!
Maia Saks and Megan Chung will be representing Masterman at the Philadelphia Scholastic Debate League Finals for the city championship.
Henry Anastasi-Scott and Lillian Chancey are the Pennsylvania High School Speech League District 11 Public Forum Debate champions and will compete in the state tournament on March 15. Henry Margasak and Ayush Bennur finished third and are first alternates at states.
Two Masterman teams qualified for the National Catholic Forensics League Tournament to be held on Memorial Day weekend. Noah Eggerts and Sammie Keenan, and Malcolm Miller and Lisel Ndrecka are going to Nationals!
