STUDENTS OF THE WEEK
STUDENT: Kara Semet
NOMINATED By: Mrs. Olenik
On behalf of Student Council, we would like to nominate Kara Semet for attending our annual Faces 4 Autism breakfast at Augie's in OC last Saturday night. Kara is not in our club, but attended and had a great time with Charlie and Louis Johnson. It was wonderful to see Kara have such a nice time interacting with both boys. This was a terrific example of inclusion!
STUDENT: Kevin Ortiz Bermudez
NOMINATED By: Mrs. Law
Kevin is a kind student who has a strong work ethic. Kevin always exemplifies compassion and helps his fellow peers. He is an absolute pleasure to have in class.
Business Leaders Visit ALAB Academy
On Tuesday February 26, 2019 the Academy of Law and Business (ALAB) students participated in Egg Harbor Township High School’s 3rd Annual Entrepreneurship Fair. To start off the day Dr. Gruccio opened with her son, Jared, owner of Stock Skinny. Then local business owners Lindsey Passante, Wesley Yakopcic, Tony Dipietro, and Eric Reich presented an interactive Q&A on their personal journey of hard work and education to becoming prosperous business owners. The day concluded with a culminating entrepreneurship themed project in which students were tasked with creating a promotional item for a local business. Local Entrepreneurship Professor Karl Giulian judged the project and sent the students off with an inspirational presentation about becoming an entrepreneur. We are so appreciative of ACCC, Snap Fitness, Reich Asset Management LLC, Voya Financial Advisors, and Fievel and Louise for Embracing, Engaging, and Educating our students.

EHT (37) vs. Cedar Creek (41) LOSS
The girls closed out their season with a home game against Cedar Creek on Wednesday. This was our senior night and we honored our only survivor, Mackenzie Mahana. Natasha Iqbal played the National Anthem on her violin and kicked off a tight game. In the end Cedar Creek outscored us 41-37. Lauren Baxter and Madison Israel had 12 and 13 points respectively.
