This is my 2nd year at Finneytown! I am a school counselor for Kopke and Ebenezer (8-12). I’ve lived in 5 states and most of my family lives in Nebraska. Outside of school, I love baking, reading and hanging out with my baby (Charlie, 9 months).

In 2021, the Finneytown Garden Club delivered over 800 hours of service! In addition, there was an article in Boy Scouts of America about our own Jack Isphording and his leadership!

CCP (College Credit Plus)

We (counseling department) will be giving the annual CCP information meeting during lunch on January 27th (12:30-1:15ish). The presentation will be posted for parents/students that can't come as well as important dates and documents.

Our resident expert on CCP is Stephanie Belschner.

Counseling Update

  • Current CCP students: Students must fill out the Spring 2022 CCP Information Google Form in order to receive credit for their CCP classes. Students who do not fill out the form will not have their classes paid for by Finneytown.

  • CCP meeting for 2022-2023 school year: Our annual presentation with information about the CCP program and applying for the upcoming school year will be held on Thursday, Jan. 27 during high school lunch in the Media Center.

  • 10th grade Great Oaks applications open: Applications for 10th grade students interested in applying to the Great Oaks Career Programs are now open. The priority deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 8. Virtual program tours are available here and the course catalogue is available here.

  • 10th grade field trip to Diamond Oaks: All 10th grade students will have the opportunity to tour the Diamond Oaks campus on Friday, Jan. 21. Students must have their Emergency Medical Forms completed in order to attend. Please complete on Final Forms ASAP!
