"Scrooge" Makes Everyone Happy!
The CHS Theatre Department entertained big crowds last week with their performances of "Scrooge". Students from all our schools filled the auditorium with excitement as they joined us for one of the numerous performances staged by this outstanding group of theatre students. A community performance was given Saturday night to a full house. The response was overwhelmingly positive. Don't miss your final opportunity to see this holiday classic rescheduled for tonight. We are so proud of the theatre department!

Readers' Theatre
Readers' Theatre is always an enjoyable activity for students. It's a great way for students to develop fluency through repeated exposure to text; increase comprehension; integrate reading, writing, speaking; listen in an authentic context, be engaged and motivated; create confidence and improve their self-image.
Hour of Code
Last week students participated in Computer Science Week's Hour of Code. Learning about coding is an exciting and important opportunity for our students.
