Knightly Update January 30, 2022
ACP High School - Edition Vol 1 Issue 26
Hello. I hope you had a nice week and are enjoying the weekend. We held our annual Information Night on Tuesday and had a very nice turnout. It is exciting to see so many families interested in ACP. Thank you to the students and staff that assisted with the event. Your assistance was very much appreciated.
Mid-quarter grades will be available for review on Friday. If you have any concerns about your child's academic progress, please contact the appropriate instructor. As a reminder, grades can be viewed by visiting the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
We elected to postpone our school's talent show, ACP's Got Talent until later this semester. Rest assured the show will take place, but we want to provide the safest opportunity possible for everyone to enjoy this event. We will communicate the new date with everyone once it is finalized.
Spring athletic season is just around the corner. Students interested in trying out for a spring sport need to make sure all required forms and courses are completed prior to the first day of tryouts/practice. If you have any questions, please visit our athletic website or contact the office.
Have a very nice week. I don't whether to root for the groundhog to see his shadow or not. I'm not a fan of the colder weather, but I don't want it to get too warm too soon. I guess we'll see...
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for being a part of our school.
Rob Bickes
Principal

Please Make a Tax Credit Donation
If you are able to make your tax contributions early in the year, your donation would be greatly appreciated and give us a jump start on some of our essential extracurricular activities. We have set a goal to collect approximately $50.00 per family for a total of $57,500.00 and hope that you will be willing to help us meet our goal. Thank you for supporting your child and our school!
Tax Credit Basics…
A tax credit donation is a full refund, not a deduction. Contributions eligible for a tax credit are donated directly to schools, not to the state or school district. To participate or learn more, follow the link listed below to donate online or you can complete the enclosed form and submit your contribution at your convenience.
http://www.cusd80.com/taxcredit
Arizona Law ARS 43-1089.01 enables taxpayers a tax credit contribution of up to $400.00 per year if filing status is “Married, filing Joint Return;” $200.00 per calendar year if filing status is “Single of Head of Household;” and $200 per calendar year if filing status is “Married filing separate returns.” These contributions fund extracurricular activities in public schools and greatly impact our school community and our students.
