Dear Parents and Carers,

Firstly thank you for all of your support during our Summer Fair yesterday. It was lovely to see so many of you around school. Thank you to all of the staff at school, especially Mrs Winstanley and Mrs Slade for the hard work in helping to ensure the event was as smoothly as possible. Thank you very much.

It has been as busy a week as we have had this week. The Year Six children are beginning to learn the songs for their leavers assembly. I cannot beleive another year has gone so quickly!

Our school has been busy, as always, learning this week. Year 2 have been writing poems about things they might see, ear and feel at the beach: Year 5 and 6 held mock general elections and you can see some of the results of these on our school twitter page here. Year 3 have completed some incredible writing of complex sentences and have used conjunctions to join these together. We have had a very busy week of learning!

Have a wonderful weekend. I look forward to seeing all of those Monday smiles!

With respect,

Mr Neil Ringrose
