Miss HurstHi, my name is Brittany Hurst. I am a Registered Nurse (RN) at American Fork Hospital on the Medical Surgical unit. I have been a Nurse for 6 years now, currently working on my bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN), and then will pursue my degree as a Nurse Practitioner (NP). I received my associates when I was 21 years old, and in a short 18 months, I was working as a Nurse. I absolutely love the career I am in, and eager to help all of you in this possibly scary, but interesting times we are going through! I will be here for you any way that I can, and to help ease any stressful moments we may encounter! Some Getting to know me/interesting facts: I have been married for a little over two years now, with no kids yet. I am the second oldest of my 4 siblings, and my littlest sister goes to this school. Something quirky about me, is my laugh is very uniquely contagious (so I have been told) and carries itself very far away. 😊 Even if my jokes/comment was not funny, you will be laughing because of my laugh. My favorite color is purple, and I pretty much enjoy all candy or pastries, and Coke Zero is my jam. | Mr. BurdetteI have been married for almost 25 years (January 2021). My wife, Janalee, and I have 4 children (2 of each - girl, boy, girl, boy). We do a lot together as a family – every Sunday is game night at our house.
I have degrees from both BYU (undergraduate) and the U of U (graduate). In order to keep learning, I have a new goal of reading a new book every week.
I love to travel. My last two trips were going to Mexico for my brother’s wedding in January 2020 and then driving back to Utah with my son after his summer employment in Washington DC (2000 miles in 2 days). I love the beach and have also been going on a yearly “Guys’ Surf Trip” with the same group of friends for the past 21 years.
I enjoy getting to know and helping people and look forward to the experiences that we will share together at UCAS. |
