Now Serving! Brewed Awakening Open for Business at AHS

The new Argyle High School has an exciting new feature for Eagle students and staff. Introducing Brewed Awakening! It's a new coffee bar, opened again after closing last year, that recently had a soft opening and it's already become a very popular morning stop.

The coffee bar is managed and staffed by the Argyle ISD Student Nutrition Department and is open every morning serving up hot and cold speciality drinks, pastries and more! Students and staff can use their SchoolCafe accounts to make purchases.

"We're thrilled about the reopening of Brewed Awakening at the new AHS campus," Student Nutrition Director Amy Bresnahan said. "We have some very talented Baristas and a wonderful Pastry Chef all working to create a true coffee bar experience for our students. We will be open each morning before school and throughout the school day as staffing allows."

Eagle Families Enjoy Argyle Family Day at Rangers Game

Last Sunday at Globe Life Field in Arlington there was plenty of EXTRA red in the stands! It was Argyle ISD Family Day at the Rangers game and more than 1,000 Eagle families attended. During pre-game, Argyle ISD and the campuses were featured on the videoboard.

The AHS Choir had the opportunity to perform God Bless America in the 7th inning. The choir pre-recorded a video that was played on the videoboard. The choir students were also special guests at the game and enjoyed seeing themselves before a huge crowd at the game. Argyle ISD plans to make this an annual event at one Rangers game each year.

Know Before You Go: Clear Bag Policy at Eagle Stadium

Starting this year at all Eagle football games, Argyle ISD is implementing a clear bag policy for all spectators. This also applies to all subvarsity football games. The district’s highest priority is safety and security and this new policy will help provide a safer environment at Eagle Stadium.

All spectators attending games at Eagle Stadium (located at 191 US-377) will be required to use clear bags for personal belongings. Bags approved include a clear tote bag (12” x 6” x 12"), a small clutch bag (4.5” x 6.5“) or a one-gallon clear resealable plastic bag. Please see the attachment for examples.

Thank you for partnering with us in this safety initiative that will also allow spectators quicker entry at the gates.

COVID-19 Cases - Reporting & Dashboard

Argyle ISD has created a COVID-19 dashboard to keep parents, staff, students and the community aware of the positive case totals at the campuses. The dashboard is updated by 6 p.m. each school day. The numbers are based on only cases confirmed through documentation.

Argyle ISD is required to report confirmed COVID-19 cases to the classrooms. This is being done at the elementary level by homeroom class and grade level. At the high school and middle school levels, parents will be notified through Skyward. Parents will be notified by email if their student is in the classroom of a positive case. This could lead to parents receiving multiple emails due to multiple cases reported on the campus for that specific day.

Hilltop Elementary Remains Closed To Visitors

Hilltop Elementary will remain closed to all visitors and volunteers through Friday, Sept. 10.

Parents and guardians will still be allowed to enter the front office area only to check-in students or drop off items. Visitors and volunteers will not be allowed additional access inside the building. Hilltop currently has 36 active COVID-19 cases (11 staff and 25 students).
