ClassConn Honors Amy White at Annual Meeting
This year's Distinguished Service Award was presented to Amy White by outgoing President Allen Ward at the 2016 Annual Meeting. Amy has served ClassConn as a member of the Board of Directors, as President (2003-2004), and especially as long-term chair of Connecticut State Latin Day. Gratias tibi agimus, Magistra White!
Mary Beard to Speak at Yale
The Yale University Classics Department presents the 9th annual Rostovtzeff Lecture by Mary Beard. Professor Beard's talk is titled "The Twelve Caesars: Fictions and Fakes, Meanings and Misunderstandings from the Renaissance to Now."

Dura-Europus Tour at Yale Art Gallery

ClassConn kicks off the celebration of its Saeclum with a guided group tour of the Dura-Europos exhibit of the Yale University Art Gallery. Participants may gather for post-tour refreshments at Yorkside Pizza and Restaurant (at participant's expense). Meet in the lobby of YUAG at 12:30.
