P4P Promise Focuses On Critical Need for Bond Passage
CAC Plans Are Part of May 3 Board Meeting
PLSD’s Board of Education is delighted to share that members of the Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) will give presentations on the five focus area action plans during the Monday, May 3rd regular board meeting. The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. in the Heritage Elementary Auditorium, 100 N. East St., Pickerington.
During the first phase of the CAC’s work, which concluded on March 8, members were engaged to help frame issues of Diversity & Equity in the district. The work culminated with each group creating an action plan across the following five focus areas:
- Faculty and Staff Engagement in Diversity/Equity and Inclusion Issues
- Student Engagement in Diversity/Equity and Inclusion Issues
- Recruitment/Retention of Minority Staff
- Curricular Issues as Related to Diversity/Equity and Inclusion Issues
- Equitable Discipline for All Students

P4P Promise Details Critical Need for Bond Passage
Tuesday’s ballot issue affects every student and facility in our district and would generate the funding required to implement the Master Facility Plan. It is our community's Plan for Progress — developed by a community committee and approved by our community-elected Board of Education. For more on the increasingly critical need for bond issue passage, please read the latest Plan for Progress Promise blog by Supt. Chris Briggs.
