Zoom Norms
A quiet place is important!
If you need to talk with me, it needs to be done when there are no other students logged in. At the end of the last meeting I will be happy to stay and talk. I will not talk when I have students in the classroom.
Please join the zoom meeting by 8:30 or 12:00! I will start counting absent if they aren't in after 5 minutes, unless I receive an email from you.
Students need to stay muted unless I ask them to unmute. I will check for raised hands periodically during the zoom.
- They need to be in the frame of the zoom, but they don't need to be sitting for the entire time. 3 and 4 year olds need to move sometimes, and that is fine as long as I can see them.
- Bathroom breaks are as needed, just leave the iPad signed in to the zoom meeting.
- Fidgets are ok; items like play doh, putty, small amounts of slime, small pieces of Legos, etc.
- Monday and Friday are assessment days if needed, I will email you ahead of time to schedule a time to meet individually. Please remember that it is an assessment of what your child knows, so please do not help them with answers. If needed I will give them a hint or clue if possible.
