Academic Parent Teacher Team (APTT)
APTT – Academic Parent Teacher Teams is a model of family engagement based on the belief that schools can thrive when families and teachers work together, as genuine partners, to maximize student learning inside and outside of school. This is an opportunity to learn about grade level expectations and how your child is progressing academically.
Our Fall APTT meeting will be held on Thursday, August 19th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm. Your child's teacher will contact you to let you know your scheduled appointment time for the APTT meeting.
Uniforms
Uniforms are mandatory for students. You can purchase custom Park Street uniforms at school, or purchase at your local Target or Walmart without a Park Street logo. Uniform order forms were sent home on Thursday in your child's "Learn, Grow, Thrive" folder. Pictures of acceptable uniforms are included below. Uniforms should be worn Monday-Thursday. Students are able to dress casually on Fridays.
Family Data Tracking Sheet
You will be receiving a family data tracking sheet. This tracking sheet will help you to monitor your child’s academic progress and school goals at home. Please watch the video tutorial in the newsletter to see how to complete the form.
Students that turn in the completed form by the due date will receive a pizza party and their parents will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Amazon or VISA gift card.
5th Grade Families
We will have a 5th grade end of the year overnight trip to Space Camp. The cost of the trip will be $350 per student. We will have an informational meeting for 5th grade parents ONLY on August 19th at 4:30 PM. We would love for every student to participate in this exciting end of the year celebration. The trip will be from May 17 to the 19th.
