Hello, Longwood Families!
Thank you to the all of our families who joined us for curriculum night this week! If you were unable to join us, please connect with your child's teacher. They would be happy to share important information about your child's learning this year.
On Friday we celebrated our first Longwood Leader Assembly. Congratulations to all of our Community Champions! The trait for the month of October is Self Control.
This week we look forward to beginning WIN (What I Need) groups. Each grade level has an hour each day where students meet in small groups with their teacher and/or other specialists in the building, engage in center work with games and other hands-on activities that reinforce key concepts in ELA, and the opportunity to building their skills and stamina working independently on personalized learning tools like Lexia or reading to self.
Join us this Friday, October 6 for Lunch on the Lawn! Friday is also a Longwood Spirit Day - Show your PRIDE for our Pride by wearing red, blue, or Longwood Gear!
Have a wonderful weekend, Lions! Thank you for being a part of our Pride!
Congratulations Longwood Leaders for September!
