Author talk by NZ children's and young adult writer Melinda Szymanik, at Otago Girls' High School Library

There is some off street parking available in the rear carpark (drive past the main gates to the end of Tennyson Street and go around the substation. The carpark is on the left at the back of the building)
Melinda Szymanik is the current University of Otago College of Education Creative New Zealand Children's Writer in Residence, but you might know her best as the author of (among others) Jack the Viking, Clever Moo, award winner The Were-nana, The half life of Ryan Davis and most recently A winter's day in 1939.
Come along and join us for what will be a very entertaining afternoon. Tea/coffee and a light afternoon tea will be provided.
The author talk will be followed by a brief SLANZA Otago meeting.
