Sportsmanship
In the article “Sportsmanship/Kids health” it explains that some parents are too focused on if their kids team win or lose or how well their child played that they are forgetting the most important part about sports. Even our parents can show examples of bad sportsmanship. This article also states that “Good sportsmanship is when teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials treat each other with respect. Kids learn the basics of sportsmanship from the adults in their lives, especially their parents and their coaches. Kids who see adults behaving in a sportsmanlike way come to understand that the real winners in sports are those who know how to persevere and to behave with dignity — whether they win or lose a game.” So this is saying that some kids get their aggressiveness from an adult especially their parents the way they act towards sports. If we work together and show respect towards each other in sports and other activities we can be a good player and a great friend and can play without expressing their anger towards the other team/teammate and just have fun and enjoy the sport! The article “Sportsmanship/Kids health” also states “Some people define good sportsmanship as the "golden rule" of sports — in other words, treating the people you play with and against as you'd like to be treated yourself. You demonstrate good sportsmanship when you show respect for yourself, your teammates, and your opponents, for the coaches on both sides, and for the referees, judges, and other officials.” These are reasons why we should take good sportsmanship seriously and effectively.
