Halloween Events..../Eventos de Halloween ....
Halloween will be here before we know it! In order to continue learning AND celebrate this holiday, I need to remind/share out the expectations for Sunset Elementary in regards to October 31 - Halloween Day.
Students are able to come to school in costumes under the following guidelines:
1. They MUST be able to learn in them ALL DAY...
2. No face paint allowed
3. No masks of any sort allowed
4. No weapons of any sort
4. No blood or scary costumes allowed
An all school costume parade will begin promptly at 2:00 within the building. Once all students have paraded through Sunset, they will be split into teams to parade through Sunset Meadows and Sandrock Ridge. They will return immediately back to school to end the day with class parties.
Parents - if you choose to dress up and come to Sunset, you must be recognizable for safety precautions.
Teachers will not help students into their costumes, fix their costumes, and or be responsible for costumes throughout the day. Remember, this is still a day of learning - students will be responsible and expected to participate in all aspects of their day (PE, recess, ...).
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Fritz or Mrs. Hafey.

Bulldog Notebooks/Bulldog Notebookser
Please be watching for and expecting a Bulldog Notebook to come home EVERY NIGHT with your child. It is an expectation that you ask for and sign off on these EVERY NIGHT. In addition, at Sunset, we expect that EVERY child reads EVERY night. Please help us, help your child be as successful as they can. We cannot do this alone. If you have any questions, in regards to your child's Bulldog Notebook, please ask your child's teacher or call the office.
Please know that if your child comes to school without their Bulldog Notebook signed consistenly, they will be making a phone call home and/or a phone call from Mrs. Hafey will happen.
