The Garfield Re-2 School District is pleased to announce. . .

Diane Haupt as the new Special Education Director

Diane is currently the Special Education Coordinator in Mesa Valley County School District 51. She served as the Director of Special Education in a variety of school districts in Wisconsin and as the School Psychologist in North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and in School District of Superior. She holds an Ed.S School Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, a B. A. Psychology and Sociology from Wartburg College and completed the Director of Special Education program through the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

We will provide additional information on when Diane will be in Garfield Re-2 to meet staff and begin the transition as we know it.

Mark your calendars

The annual end of the year celebration is almost here. Mark your calendars for food, fun, friendship


on Friday, May 31 at Coal Ridge High School.

Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. with the celebration beginning about 8:15 and did we forget to mention . . .


Come and celebrate and honor your peers and say a final good-bye to our retirees.

Oh, and did we mention PRIZES?

Teacher/Administrator contracts to be sent out electronically

Contracts will be issued after the May 28, 2019 school board meeting. Please be watching your Garfield Re-2 email box for your electronic contract in TalentEd and attend to it as soon as possible.

Contracts may take a few days to hit your e-mail boxes so be sure to check your account frequently, even after school is out.
