All Saints Delivery Food Bank
History
The All Saints Delivery Food Bank began in 1982 to help those without transportation and the elderly gain access to food. Since 1994, we’ve been in our current location. Due to a lack of space to serve guests in person, we’ve kept the delivery model. We are one of the few food pantries in our area to offer this service.
Operations
We rely on food donations from parishioners and from partner organizations such as Emergency Food Network and Safeway. We purchase additional protein such as frozen chicken, eggs, and butter. Once a month, we purchase the bulk of our staples from WinCo.
Currently guests may receive one box of food every 30 days. For some seniors, we deliver every 15 days. The box contains a week’s worth of food. For a family of 4, the cost for each box is around $40. We serve about 20 families per week.
Guests call the Community Services Office by noon to schedule a same-day delivery. Community Services office volunteers create the delivery lists for drivers. We have 2 shifts of drivers, Monday-Thursday, from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm. Drivers pick up list of day's deliveries (prepared by Community Services' volunteers), load up boxes (adding refrigerated items), and deliver to homes. Additional volunteers pre-pick the boxes, manage the inventory, and work in the parish garden
Donations
Occasionally, food bank guests request special items. We include these if we have them on hand. Items include:
Toilet paper, shampoo, diapers, feminine hygiene products, dish soap, laundry soap
Milk, milk alternatives such as almond milk
We always welcome donations of these food box staples:
Canned soup, cereal, ramen, macaroni and cheese, pancake mix

Good Friday Crosswalk
The Good Friday Crosswalk tradition in Puyallup began 30 years ago when a group of Christians decided to start a public Way of the Cross to bring attention to social justice concerns.
Throughout the years the walk has made stops at various Christian churches to hear speakers address a specific theme. All Saints Parish has been one of the participating communities since the Crosswalk’s inception.
Due to the Covid pandemic, this year’s event will be held virtually on Friday, April 2. Watch at https://youtu.be/Mz5PJMkPZvo.

Support Immigrants
Thank you for your continued support of AIDNW!
The current supply of Yarn and other art supplies at the detention center is running very low. The detainees are very appreciative of this program as they have limited recreational time.
Due to detention center guidelines, they will only accept new packaged yarn.
These and other specific items included in the Amazon Wish List below are approved for donation. Please only send the items requested due to regulations. As previously requested, please have all donations shipped to the AIDNW Hospitality House Office.
