Mean- The mean is the average, where you add up all the numbers and then divide by the number of numbers.
Median- The median is the middle value in the list of numbers. To find the median, your numbers have to be listed in numerical order, so you may have to rewrite your list before being able to find the median.
Mode- The mode is the value that occurs most often. If no number is repeated, then there is no mode for the list.
Range- The range is just the difference between the largest and smallest values.
How to calculate mean- First add all the numbers together; 91+90+100+99+80+85+87+94+82+82+70=960, then divide the sum of all the numbers (960) by the number of numbers in the sequence (11). 960/11=87.2 The mean is 87.2.
How to find the median- The median is the middle number, but you have to put the numbers in order from least to greatest before your able the find the median.
70,80,82,82,85,87,90,91,94,99,100. The median is 87.
How to find the mode- The mode is just the number that appears more than once.
70,90,91,87,82,100,94,80,85,82,99 The mode is 82.
How to find the range- To find the range just subtract the lowest value from the highest value. 100-70=30 The range is 30.
