Wings to Soar!
August - Start of School Year 2022-2023
Welcome Back!!
Register for the 2022-2023 School Year!
Please check your email associated with your child’s Harmony account for an email from Harmony to register for the new school year! If you didn’t receive an email, we need an updated email address from you. Please login to the Harmony parent portal and update information for emergency contacts, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. This information is helpful for the school and your child’s teacher to communicate throughout the school year!
Transportation Information
This year, SCSC will utilize the BUS INFO tab in your Harmony Family Access account to communicate transportation information, including assigned bus # 's, bus stop locations, and approximate times for pickup, drop-off, and transfers.
Transportation requests made by August 1st will ensure the availability of busing on the first day of school. Please select if your child will ride the bus in Harmony by indicating YES and selecting AM, PM, or both.
As a reminder, SCSC does NOT provide transportation for students who live out of district or out of boundary (for elementary students).
The SCSC transportation department plans to have bus routes updated in your child's Harmony account on August 8th. A follow-up notification will be sent once routes are finalized.
CORTLAND FORMS TO FILL OUT BEFORE THE START OF THE SCHOOL YEAR
Meal account information
Indiana schools plan to return to traditional meal pricing in the fall.
We keep pricing the same for our students in 2019-- $1.25/breakfast and $2.55/lunch for paid meals. Students qualifying for free OR reduced-income benefits will receive meals at no cost.
The application process will be available for meal and textbook assistance. Paper applications will be available from the school buildings, and our online application portal is open now. https://frapps.horizonsolana.com/SEYC01
If students qualified for textbook assistance last school year, they will have a temporary status that will allow them to continue receiving meals at no cost until a new application is received. The temporary status will expire after 30 school days if a new application is not submitted.
