A special 'thank you' to everyone
-Dom
A heartfelt 'farewell' to some of our faithful Tiogue faculty and staff - I am hopeful that many of you will be back at Tiogue in the near future
-Jesse King - Best of luck in your new Kindergarten room at Hopkins Hill! It will not be the same without your little preschoolers walking down the hallways in the AM and PM.
-Kelly Gervasini - Best of luck in Pre K at Washington Oak! Your calm demeanor and ability to make all of your little ones comfortable and happy to be in preschool is a true gift.
-Milena Burton - Best of luck in your new position at Hopkins Hill! I will never forget our last day of school, or should I say last day Luau in room #3. That was a blast...and do not show anyone those pictures of me with a grass skirt on!
-Chris Lanctot - Mr. APE extraordinaire! Every time I saw you working with our students you were smiling and happy! It was a pleasure getting to know you this year.
-Jill Hague - All I can say is, Narragansett's gain is truly our loss! You run such a smooth, clear cut IEP mtg. and for that, I am thankful!
-Katie Briggs - Kindergarten students grew leaps and bounds under your tutelage. Your organization and consistency was a work of art! Students alway knew what to expect and those expectations were high.
-Michelle Haskell - Your Title One Reading students never ever wanted to miss one minute of intervention time with you! Every time I walked by room 21A you and your students were locked in, learning together as one!
-Kristen McQuiggan - I have been lucky enough to work with 3 of the very best Speech and Language Pathologists (prior to coming to Coventry) in the state...and let me say that I now have added a fourth to my list!
-Keith Kline - Keith is a true gentlemen and scholar! Your patience and willingness to help everyone on our Team was very much appreciated. Tiogue has been lucky to have you for so long.
-Lindsay Gagne - You were asked to play different roles this year and you never missed a beat. Our Special Education Team was better with you on it! You are a natural.
-To all of our Pre K Teacher Assistants - You are such a powerful group of educators!
Best of luck at Washington Oak next year. Terry Roll, Susan Brennan, Stacey Gebler, Jeannie Darcy-Gagnon, and Pam Sisson - you are all dedicated, reliable and willing to help out in any way that you can. After all of her time in Pre K, I would also like to thank our longterm substitute, Roxanne McGrath. Roxanne was always there when we needed her.
Finally, to our other longterm substitutes, Bev Smith, Chelsea Paone, and Kim Olson, when room 3 needed a boost, you were all there, working together to make a difference.

IXL Information for summer and next year
This will mean that all users (Teachers & Students) from Tiogue must use their regular credentials, but sign in on the Coventry custom domain page at https://www.ixl.com/signin/coventry.
If you do not sign in using the new webpage, you will get an "expired account" message.
Finally, because all schools will have access to IXL from now on, we will only have access to the mathematics. ELA will no longer connect for us.
Thanks,
Dom

Message regarding Materials/Assets
Please be advised that no district assets should be disposed of including textbooks until you receive additional directions from the finance office. It has come to the attention of District Administration that some staff have been contemplating selling texts. This cannot occur without permission. A process and procedure for disposal will be outlined by the finance office. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
Message from District Tech Team
Since the transition to Google back in 2014, utilization of this service has steadily declined. Faced with budgetary constraints associated with maintaining the servers to store and backup this data, the time has come to complete the transition to GoogleDrive.
Teachers should take the time from now until the end of the year to migrate any files you wish to keep from your H drive to your GoogleDrive. Depending on the amount of data you wish to keep, this can take some time.
Here is a video detailing how to make this move.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgdwQJqybQc
User Google accounts have unlimited storage capacity and teachers will now have anytime access to these files, something we could not provide before.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.
