Bluejay Bulletin

November Edition

Winter is here!

The heading of this was going to be, winter is coming....but after the weather we've had, I needed to change that! With cold weather here already, please be sure students are dressed appropriately for the cold and snow. Please help your student remember hats, mittens, snow pants, boots and of course a jacket that will keep them warm! If your student is missing any of these things, please encourage them to check the lost and found at school.

Attendance

Attendance is important and has an impact on student learning. Please remember that our school day begins at 7:45 and ends at 2:50.

Positive Parenting Solutions

Johnson Creek School district would like to offer a five week Positive Parenting Solutions course free to families. This course would give parents tools needed to put an end to exhausting power struggles with your children and foster positive family interactions. The class would consist of a “parent room” where parents work together on coursework and a “child-care room” where children are given mini-lessons that match what the parents are learning along with free play.
