Sacramento PRAYS

Uniting people to pray in the Greater Sacramento Region.

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.” - Ephesians 4:4-6

Worship Prayer Healing Sacramento, September 20, 2015 Praise Report

“Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation…The LORD will remove from you all sickness…You shall not dread them [those you are afraid of], for the LORD your God is in your midst, a great and awesome God.” Deut. 7:15, 21

The kingdom of darkness took a huge hit this Sunday. Around 2400 people showed up to see his face. Eyes were opened, ears were opened, backs were straightened, at least 3 cases of stage 4 cancer were healed, freedom was received, marriage flames were relit, and that is just the beginning of the testimonies! Hallelujah! All glory to God!!

Please continue to pray for the next 40 days for those who were healed continue to walk in their healing and to draw closer to God and to give Him glory. Please also pray for the prayer team and anyone involved in planning the event or making it possible. Pray that there would be no retribution and that any weapons formed against them would not prosper and that the Lord would turn them into blessings!!

“And He answered and said to them, ‘Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have the Gospel preached to them. Blessed is he who does not take offense at Me.’” Luke 7:22-23

What is happening in the Sacramento Region can only be explained in and through Jesus Christ! God is with us! God is in us! God is for us! Let us rejoice in Him and seek Him and know Him and worship Him all the more because we have received greater revelation of Who He Is. This is an Isaiah 6 moment for the Sacramento Region…

Today, nearly 12 million refugees have been displaced by the crisis in Syria. About half of those displaced are children.

There are complex and far-reaching issues, but the CHURCH IN ACTION can play a significant role in bringing hope to the vulnerable and oppressed.

Dear friends and partners in ministry to our immigrant and refugee neighbors,

We have all been deeply saddened by the heartbreaking stories of refugees in the media. The images we are seeing are haunting. Despite the longstanding nature of this conflict, now more than ever, recent events seem to be stirring God's people to action. We are getting such a strong response from so many who want to do what they can to help.

Over the coming month, World Relief Sacramento is partnering with our good friends at the Arab American Learning Center to host a series of informational meetings which will give you more insight on the Syrian refugee crisis, how the Church in Europe and the Middle East is responding and how the Church in the US can effectively partner both locally and globally. Please watch for a follow-up email with more information on times and locations for these gatherings.

We believe this should be a moment when the Church rises up in unified love and overwhelming compassion to meet the needs of the worst humanitarian crisis since WWII. We hope you can join us at one of these important gatherings. In the meantime, I heard many years ago that "the need is first of all a call to prayer." We are calling on the Church of the greater Sacramento area to unite in prayer for seven days. Please CLICK HERE to download a prayer guide.

Beyond this, we encourage you to visit, where you can learn more about the Syrian refugee crisis and what you and your church can do to be a part of this historic moment for the Body of Christ.

Finally, World Relief is working with local churches to provide urgent supplies in Jordan, Turkey, and Iraq by meeting the practical needs of refugees. We are supplying temporary shelters, hygiene items, and trauma therapy for women and children, and more. World Relief is also working in Germany to train and equip churches to welcome the massive influx of refugees into Europe.
