- Halloween Parade: Halloween Parade will be on Tuesday October 31st at approximately 12:45 PM. Students in grades PreK-5 will march around the perimeter of our recess area, within our fence. Parents are encouraged to join us Tuesday afternoon and watch the parade. In respect to student safety, we kindly ask all parents to watch from the outside of our fence. Students will be marching by for a quick "high five" or photo opportunity.
- Halloween Costumes: Costumes should be tasteful, modest, and appropriate for a school environment. No form of weapon, masks, blood, or gore may be part of the costume. All students (preK-8) may wear their physical education uniform to school on Halloween. Students in PreK-5 will change into their Halloween costumes at school.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Washington, DC
A special agenda has been planned for children who attend the pilgrimage. Bishop O’Connell has once again extended a special invitation to families who have presented a child for their First Holy Communion in 2016 or 2017. The Bishop will also gather with all children in Memorial Hall where he will lead catechetical talks on topics of faith. Also, children will be invited to participate in an exercise designed to teach them about the various shrine chapels. Upon their arrival to the shrine, the children will each receive a “Pilgrim Passport” that has a number of designated chapels listed for the children to visit. After each chapel visit, the children’s passport will be stamped.
