SCHOOL INFORMATION
SCA Canned Food Drive
The Hidden Valley Middle School SCA is sponsoring a canned food drive to benefit Feeding Southwest Virginia until Tuesday, December 15. Students are encouraged to bring cans to school and give them to their first block teachers to support those in need in our area. Virtual students may turn their cans in to the front office.
As an incentive to participate, students who bring in five cans or more will receive an assignment pass to be used in one of their classes (*This pass will only apply to assignments determined to be eligible for exemption by the teacher – students, please check with your teacher before you plan to use the pass on an assignment to make sure it is eligible). Additionally, the grade level that brings in the most cans will also win push-pops that will be distributed at the end of lunches on Thursday, December 17 and Friday, December 18.
Please join us for this great cause, and please let us know if you have any questions!
