Code.org Opportunity
HCS will be hosting a free code.org workshop for K-5 educators on May 10 at the Central Office. Code.org will be an identified resource for teachers as we move into unpacking the new Digital Literacy and Computer Science standards adopted by the ALSDE recently.
Your school would need to cover the cost of the sub. A STI-PD number will be set up soon, so be on the lookout for this. This is a powerful learning experience! Please talk to your principal if interested.
