Trichomoniasis is a very common STI, and is considered to be the most easily curable with a round of antibiotics. This infection is caught is through unprotected intercourse. Most people that have Trich do not have symptoms, but some of the symptoms include irritation or itching in the genitals. The symptoms may vary. If this infection is left untreated there is a greater chance of getting the HIV virus or passing other STI's. It is caught when an infected person passes it to an uninfected person during unprotected intercourse.
